Katie Boychuk was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Allen, Texas. Katie attended Baylor University where she received a Bachelor of Music degree in 2010 followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. She has worked as a nurse on a medical-surgical unit, in pediatric urgent care and in various speciality clinics at Children’s Plano.

Katie earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2016 from Texas Woman’s University and her master’s degree in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Texas Woman’s University in 2017. She has worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in primary care as well as urgent care.

Katie has served as an adjunct faculty member in the undergraduate pediatric nursing program at Texas Woman’s University for the last 4 years and enjoys helping teach the next generation of nurses.

Katie is married and lives in Allen, TX with her husband, daughter and their dog, Belle. Katie enjoys spending time with her family and attending church activities in her spare time.
